Twin Screw Extruder

    Twin screw extruder is an equipment used in preparation of recipies for reinforced plastics, engineering plastics with reclaimed material, shock absorbant plastics with loading reclaimed elastomeric, reinforced and filled plastics using minerals like zeolite, huntite, and dolamite that is abundant in Turkey, but not commercially used, short and long fibre reinforced plastics, plastics and composites using renewable resources as reinforcing materials, biodegradable plastics, etc. 
The twin screw extruder with configurable screws has an L/D ratio of 44, two gravimetric feeders for plastics and minerals and fibres, one volumetric feeder for feeding fluids, and can operate at temperatures up to 400° C
